Silver took a big breath in. The warm, damp air smelled great. They had reached the beach, after a while worth of travel. And now, Silver had her Articuno, and Dusty had his Raikou. The younglings seemed rather content with their new friends, so all seemed well.
She had heard Dusty’s little confession last night. Her body was in that point between consciousness and a dream, but she defiantly heard that. He loved her? How long had he been saying that without her noticing? It was slightly unnerving, but at the same time reassuring. She loved him too… but she never had the guts to tell him. It was nice to know he at least felt the similarly.
Chiri looked at Silver curiously. He wasn’t positive, but the way she was looking at Dusty right now made him think. Maybe they were closer than he had previously thought. Or, maybe he was just nutty, and had do idea what was going on. He sighed quietly; he would never understand humans…
Astra was feeling a little jealous of the newbie. It was a bird, just like himself, and Silver coddled it so! It saddened the little Swablu. He felt sorta left out… the Articuno was just so… so… so cool! He felt boring and uninteresting in comparison.
Articuno wasn’t so happy as Astra thought she was. She felt like the left out. All these other Pokémon were so close to this girl… and what was she? Just a puffy ball. Just a lonely puffy ball. She didn’t fit in here, and she knew it. It was a very depressing thought, really.
Mokona was rested, and chipper as ever. She darted around, smelling rocks, and playing with sand crabs. Her day and adventure had just begun, and she was happy as can be about it. The sky was blue, the beach was sandy, and the air smelled like water. It was almost a perfect little setting, and it made her happy.
Miro had been let out into the water. He was rather glad for this, actually. It was rough swimming, but he needed a challenge now and then. Without the waterway, he’d be stuck in that darned Pokéball… and that he did not like. He enjoyed the wind in his scales, so to speak.
Last and lagging behind as always, was little Reisei. He was rather cute, the way he toddled behind Silver. Judging by his growth, he would evolve soon. That would be exciting, even if he didn’t like the idea of being the very feminine Kirlia. Oh well, Gardevoir was worth the wait.
