Shadow wandered slowly along the path of the Twilight Town. She was revisiting the events of the day; filling out her application; getting her first Pokemon, a female Torchic who she named Aduro. Shadow reached down to pet her little Torchic, who was walking beside her. Aduro chirped cutely, and continued walking alongside Shadow. The Trainer and Pokemon barely knew each other, yet they both really wanted to become friends. (As far as Shadow knew) Aduro was her first Pokemon, who she had just gotten at the Labs from Bella after filling an application for a Torchic out. Shadow wondered what would be in store for she and Aduro. Shadow sat down on the ground after they had gotten away from the main crowd of people. Of course, this area wasn't completely deserted, as people still walked by occasionally. So, what do you want to do now, Aduro? She asked. Aduro looked at Shadow with a questioning look, as if to say, Shouldn't you know this? You are my trainer and partner, after all!Shadow dug around in her pockets for a miniute, and dug out a few treats. She gave them to Aduro, who gobbled them up, and looked happily at Shadow.

Shadow petted her Torchic, and wondered what they should do now. Hmmm, she muttered to herself. She continued staring into the sunset. What a nice day it had been... She woke from her daydream in a miniute. She had been tapped by Aduro on the hand slightly, and was petted. Shadow yawned, covering her mouth with the hand that wasn't busy petting Aduro. She opened her eyes after she had finished yawning, and looked around at her surroundings. Something looked different, but she wasn't quite sure what. She squinted around, trying to identify what it was.

Shadow looked out into the sunset again. Aha! She realized what had been different when she had looked up. It was starting to cloud over, and she thought there may have been a drop of rain that had fallen on her head. Maybe that was why Aduro had nipped her hand. It was starting to drizzle. Shadow pulled her jacket more tightly around herdelf, and stood up. Maybe they should get going, maybe go inside.

C'mon, Aduro, Shadow said, stretching her legs. Maybe we should go to the Poke Mart, she said. Back into your Poke Ball you go. Shadow reached into her trainer bag, where Aduro's Poke Ball was. She placed it on the ground, and it popped open. Aduro hopped in, and the it closed. Shadow picked it up, and began walking in the direction of the nearest Poke Mart.

But wait! Shadow thought she may have seen something else. She turned around, and looked back at the street. Go! Aduro! Aduro came back out of her Pokeball, and looked at Shadow, as if to say, I'm either in or out. Pick one or the other. Shadow sighed, as if something upsetting had just happened.

Indeed, Shadow had seen something... well, different. Lightning's Bulbasaur ran up to Shadow, and hid behind her. Lightning, Shadow's sister, ran behind Shadow, chasing Flower, her Bulbasaur. I finally got a Pokemon, Lightning said. Sorry about that, she said, picking Flower up. I think she thought it was funny to just run away randomly, she said.

"Hi, Lightning," Shadow laughed. "Nice of you to drop by. You got a Bulbasaur, huh? I figiured you would."
"Torchic," Aduro said, looking at Flower. She tilted her head, looking at the Bulbasaur.
"Maybe, do you want to travel with me and Aduro?" Shadow saked. "After all, there's strength in numbers."
(OOC: Sorry for such an amazingly short post. x.x)
