A strange girl ran out of the labs, a lopsided smile plastered over her face and a single pokeball clenched in her hand. As soon as she was a respectable distance away from the labs, she hit the button on the pokeball, releasing her first pokemon. "Char?" the little charmander stared up at the girl in confusion. The girl just smiled and held out her hand, "I- I'm T-t-twitch!" she managed to stutter out. The Charmander looked from the girls hand to her face and back again before chomping down on her fingers. "A-ahh!" she exclaimed, prying her fingers from his jaws. "W-well, we s-sure hit it off f-f-fast," she stuttered with a weak smile. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out a small black bandana and secured it around the Charmander's forehead. "Th-there! Welcome t-to the G-gang, Keahi!"

Brushing a few stray strands of brown hair out of her eyes, she looked around the area nervously, almost as if she thought someone was watching her. "S-so, Keahi, what d-do you think we sh-should do now?" she asked the charmander. Keahi pointedly ignored her, he was busy lighting a small tuft of grass on fire with his tail. The fire ate through the grass hungrily, turning it to ashes in just a few seconds. This destrustion seemed to excite the charmander, for he began to growl "Charrrrr!" whenever a tuft was completely burned out.

"K-keahi!" Twitch shouted, worrying about the possability of setting the town ablaze, "Stop that! N-no! Bad Charmander!" She scooped him up in her arms and wagged her finger in his face while speaking. Keahi, being his usual grumpy self, simply bit down on the wagging finger. "M-maybe I'm just n-not cut out f-f-for this trainer b-buisness..." Twitch sighed sadly, prying Keahi's jaws off of her hand for the second time in one day.
((level up for Keahi ^^))

"W-well, if we're g-going to leave this t-t-town, we should p-p-probably stock up on p-pokeballs, right?" Twitch looked at Keahi expectantly, as if awaiting his judgment on the matter. He nodded his head with a confident "Der!" Twitch smiled weakly before moving towards the pokemart. Her eyes began to dart around frantically again. She had a bit of a dislike for enclosed spaces, including pokecenters and pokemarts. Keahi walked by her side, wondering why his trainer was getting worried. With a deep breath, Twitch pushed open the door and entered the pokemart.

((I realize the pokeballs haven't been transferred to my account yet, but I wanted to wrap up my town roleplay))
Exiting the pokemart with a bagful of pokeballs, Twitch sighed with relief. A fear of buildings was quite a troubling phobia to have. Keahi followed her out and promptly began chewing on her pant leg. "K-keahi! No! I need those!", she shouted, prying his jaw off her jeans. Keahi's temperament might not be improving, but it seemed that his presence was somehow improving Twitch's stutter. "C'mon, let's l-leave this t-town," she smiled down at her charmander, happy their adventure was finally getting started. Keahi blinked a few times before growling out, "Char! Charmander! Char, Char!" He seemed almost happy at the mention of leaving town. He had after all spent his whole life so far here. The two headed toward the edge of town, finally starting there adventure.
