Wandering the City

[Megan]

Megan had just returned from the other side of town. She had agreed to meet her best friend, Max, at the very fountain that the new trainer was now sitting on. He and his Mudkip were going to do something at another place in town.
Her soft purple hair flittered about in the wind. The little know atop her head held most of the purple mass, but the rest of it flowed into tendrils down to her shoulders. Through her bangs showed beautiful purple eyes. She was an interesting thing to look at, alright.
Standing next to her was her beloved Torchic. She’d intended to name it something cool… but she had been calling it Torchic so long by then, the species name just suck. Every now and then, she’d call it Chickers, just for fun.
“Chic, Chic!” It hopped about happily. The little bird seemed clumsy next to the graceful girl, but he didn’t care.
“Heh, think so?” Megan laughed. Of course she didn’t know exactly what it said, but she could infer.
“Chic!” He nodded his head happily, shaking his head feathers about as he did so.
Just as Megan was about to respond to her cute chick friend, she came up to the fountain, noticing the new guy. “Erm… hello there!” She smiled brightly. Torchic lifted one of his little talons to wave a little hello of his own.

[Max]

There Max was again… late as always. He began running. After a few minutes of doing so, the green shirt of the girl he loved was in view.
“Megan! I’m sorry I’m late!!” He called, trying to get her attention, though she was far away.
“Kipkip! Mudkip!” The blue Pokémon riding on his hat called out. Her hind feet sat neatly on his shoulders, and her front paws resting on his special black hat.
That hat, Max never took off. Only he and Megan knew why. He’d been brave enough to tell Megan, at least… but nobody else could ever pull the secret out of him.
To compliment his hat was a nice blue and black hoodie, and a good pair of dark jeans. He defiantly looked like a punk, long brown hair and all. His bright ambitious green eyes gave a different impression, however.
“I was really busy!” He panted, finally standing next to her. He hadn’t noticed the newcomer just yet.
“Kip?” Mudkip hopped down to say hello to Torchic. The two got along surprisingly well for being opposite elements.
“Who is that?” Max had finally noticed the boy that hadn’t even gotten a chance to say hello to Megan yet.

[Megan]

Megan merely blushed. She was used to being treated nicely… as, she treated people nicely, and they usually returned the favor. Quickly, she pulled away, and looked at him, “Daemun, eh? Interesting name, I suppose.” She smiled, “I am Megan, and this is Torchic.” She bent down to give her pet a little poke.

“Chic!” Torchic nodded to the new boy. Then, he decided Mudkip was much more worth his time. “So… what did you do? Ol purple eyes and I bought a something or another. Boring day really.” She crooked her head, waiting for Mudkip’s response.

“Heh, Max, don’t be silly. You know you’re the only boy for me.” She smirked, going over to him and giving him a sweet little kiss on the cheek. She just couldn’t wait to see him swoon. Her purple eyes sparkled, looking right into his jade ones.

[Max]

“You …you…” Max fumed, seeing how close this suave stranger got to his Megan. He certainly wasn’t happy about it. “Gah…” Was all he could manage to say with out stuttering.

“We went over that away,” Mudkip flicked it’s tail in the direction they had come from, “And talked to some more peach things. It was boring, really, but one of them gave me candy. I saved some for you.” Mudkip then went over to Max, and made a loud noise as to get the boy to pick him up.

Max blushed brightly at Megan’s kiss… what was he to do to such a thing? He shook, standing still for a moment. “Uuuh…” Then, Mudkip had cried, making him pick up the little critter. “Whado you want?” he asked kindly. Mudkip then climbed up his owner’s arm, and grabbed a baggie from an open pouch in his backpack. Then, he returned it to the ground to share her treat with her crush.
